2023 Adirondacks Fall Paddle: Lake Lila

Lake Lila is a favorite spot of ours in the Adirondacks, based on its beauty, excellent campsites and relative ease of accessibility ( 1/3 of a mile carry from the parking area). We chose this location again in 2023 because our beloved dog, Twyla, was ill and we knew she could not withstand long and/or difficult hikes.
In fact, Twyla died just two months after this trip on December 6, 2023.
This trip was a celebration of her life and an opportunity for her to have one last adventure in the Adirondacks.
