Just a quick post to share a few photos. Didn't expect to have a signal - also didn't expect to have 25-degree temps, wind gusts of 50 mph and snow!

A bit of snow with freezing rain last night with a high of 29 F today. No big winds though thankfully! Remember, these are gifts to make the trip memorable. 😁
Brr! I was going to take a photo of your snow-covered roof here at home, if that would be any comfort. Maybe the Mojave Desert doesn't usually have snow in Feb., but in northern NM you could count on any precipitation being snow - with wind, more often than not - through April.
We are going to be 70 degrees tomorrow in NJ
Even my neighbor from Las Vegas says that it’s been unusually cold this winter and Las Vegas is in the Mojave desert
